Clinicals Manager, Biostatistics

Background & Purpose of the Job The Clinical Biostatistics group is responsible for delivering leadership and expertise in the use of Statistics and Data Analytics across the Beauty & Personal Care (BPC) Clinical Program. For Statistics this covers support in statistical design of clinical studies, statistical analysis, visualization of data and interpretation and reporting of results.  Additionally, the group provides expertise in clinical data mining and modeling, and biostats support to the BPC R&D cross functional teams as relates to the clinical program and related areas. The group delivers via a highly skilled team that is aligned to specific program areas within BPC, and works in close partnership with Clinical researchers as well as BPC Science & Technology (S&T) Global Design, Category Design, and Cluster Design teams on a global level.   Who You Are & What You'll Do You're a born leader:Acts as primary contact (Lead Biostatistican) on behalf of the Clinical Biostatistics group for at least one primary research area (e.g. Hair, Oral, etc.). You're a dot connector:Engages and collaborates with globally deployed, multi-disciplinary teams to design and implement efficient, well-focused, statistically fit-for-purpose studies. Teams may include clinicians, measurement scientists, bioscientists, product formulators, claims experts, and others. You love to win, and have fun doing it:Defines statistical approaches, identifies and/or develops appropriate statistical methodology to delivery best-in-class statistical support to Beauty & Personal Care innovations from upstream technologies through to winning launches in the market You're a teacher:Mentors other statisticians and scientists in areas of expertise and experience and ensures continuous improvement for themselves and the broader team via sharing of approaches and best practices   What You'll Need To Succeed A post graduate qualification in applied statistics and several years' practical experience in applying statistics.                         An understanding of traditional and novel statistical methodologies used within and outside Unilever and the ability and experience to identify when these should be used and when these can aid the research programs.                                                       Excellent computing and programming skills, with an extensive knowledge of a mainstream statistical package such as SAS or R.                                                    Strong interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills, excellent negotiating and influencing skills.                                                                                             Proven ability to resolve ambiguity and propose, gain buy-in, and deliver effective solutions against aggressive timelines; highly driven to deliver OTIF.  Ability to collaborate effectively in global teams across time-zones and cultures. 18000FE4

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
