Repair Purchasing Associate, Commercial Spares

Key Responsibilities:
The repair purchasing analyst role will be responsible for the delivery, cost, and quality of their respective repair vendor(s.
Maintain open repair orders and issue supplier performance reports as needed.
The analyst must take ownership for all vendors within their jurisdiction from a strategic and transactional vantage point.
Additional responsibilities include (but not limited to) expediting and coordinating material requirements to vendors for repaired components.
Manage the return and speedy replacement of defective materials.
Review and qualify new and existing suppliers as needed. Supplier surveys may include site visitation involving the auditing of supplier procedures used in the repair of products and services.
Make recommendations to suppliers to enable them to better serve and conduct business in a co-operative and ethical manner in accordance with UTC Corporate guidelines to achieve departmental and company business objectives as defined by management.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
