Summary:
Trumbull 12hr-shift 8am-8pm & 8pm-8am We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In-Home Caregivers to provide personalized care and support to individuals in their own homes.
As an In-Home Caregiver, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing - Assist with mobility and transfers, including using proper lifting techniques - Medications prompting according to prescribed schedules - Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks - Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning and organizing the client's living space - Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations with clients - Monitor and report any changes in the client's condition or behavior - Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe environment for the client - Respect and uphold the rights of the client, ensuring their dignity and privacy - Collaborate with healthcare professionals, such as nurses or social workers, to coordinate care Requirements:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred, minimum 1 year experience -Experience working with individuals with Dementia - Ability to provide physical assistance, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods - Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and their families - Compassionate nature and a genuine desire to help others - Strong organizational skills to manage daily tasks effectively - Ability to follow instructions and adhere to care plans accurately Note:
