This position will work at multiple sites-Trumbull, Fairfield, and Norwalk.
It is a full-time hourly position (Monday through Friday, 35-40 hours per week) that includes benefits.
As the front line representative of the practice, this candidate will greet patients on phone and in person; schedule appointments; maintain records and accounts; assist physicians and staff and ensure efficient flow of the office.
Duties and responsibilities include:
-Greeting patients professionally both in person and on the phone -Checking patients in and out -Scheduling and confirming patient appointments -Verifying financial records and collection of patient payments -Following-up on insurance verification and pre-authorization for procedures -Protecting patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information Skills and Knowledge -Knowledge of computers including Microsoft applications -Excellent organization and time management skills -Strong interpersonal skills Qualifications -High school diploma or equivalent -Experience preferred but willing to train -Reliable transportation needed given the need to work at different sites Job Type:
