Summary:
This person assists with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the human resources functions and duties.
You will act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and external partners.
Your main administrative duties include maintaining employee records, managing HR documents (employment records onboarding paperwork) and updating internal databases.
Our ideal candidate has experience with HR procedures and compliance.
Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our HR department supports our employees while conforming to labor laws.
You will be supporting two HR Leaders, with one being remotely-based.
You Will:
New Hires (Full Time) - Verifies new hires with all on boarding information, ensures that we are in compliance with new hire paperwork SOX procedure.
Update Organizational Chart on Intranet.
Data Management of applicable HR systems.
Sends out employee notifications of changes (new hire, terminations, promotions, address change, name changes etc.
) Owner of I-9 Everywhere Coordinates and conducts new hire orientation.
Organizes, maintains and files employee records.
Terminations - creates all documentation for termination, including communication.
Answers employee questions about HR inquires via HR Helpdesk or calls.
Severance Packages/Reductions in Force - creates all paperwork.
Acquisitions - Creates all paperwork, including communication.
Immigration Visa - coordinates all paperwork for Immigration Visa's, liaison with Immigration attorneys.
Back up to Employee Badge System Maintains and prepares reports/spreadsheets for HR Support Functions Day to day filing Liaison with SOX Auditors when needed.
Entry into ADP (new hires, terminations, change in employee status) Run ad hoc employee reports (ADP, as well as all current HRIS) Participates in HR Projects and initiatives.
Process improvement Revise company polices as necessary.
Assists in organizing and coordinating company events.
Back up to HR Generalist as necessary.
You Have:
Minimum 3 years' experience in an administration function role required, HR support preferred.
Preferred Bachelor's Degree (Business, Human Resources, Management) or 4 years of general human resources support or SHRM certified.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Must be adept at problem-solving, including being able to identify issues and resolve programs in a timely manner.
Must possess strong interpersonal skills and strong work ethic.
Must maintain confidentiality and possess strong independent judgement and discretion.
Must be able to communicate clearly, both written and orally, with employees, members of the HR management team, and in group presentations and meetings.
Must be able to switch gears quickly and be adaptable.
Must be able to effectively read and interpret information, present numerical data in a resourceful manner, and skillfully gather and analyze information.
Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities as to use time efficiently.
Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality.
Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and must be able to improve performance through management feedback.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
