Memory Care Manager
Job DescriptionJob DescriptionLed by the community's Executive Director, the Memory Care Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Memory Care Program to deliver the highest degree of quality care to our residents, to include personal care, activities and programming, and a fine dining experience.
This is an exempt, salaried position.
Salary Range:
$48,000 - 58,000Responsibilities and Duties:
Leads all efforts in Memory Care services and programming, in accordance with federal and state guidelines, as well as company policies and proceduresSupervises assigned Memory Care associates to include hiring, training, coaching, evaluating, and counselingSchedules assigned Memory Care associates for 24/7 delivery of services and programming while monitoring available labor hours to budgetManage departmental budget with established guidelines, and in conjunction with the Executive Director, perform budget analysis, review and controlWork with community leadership in providing training and orientation to new associates and ongoing training to current associatesPartner with the Health & Wellness Director to participate in the pre-admission and ongoing assessment process to develop the resident's care planConnect residents to programs, services, and resources to help manage resident careParticipate in care plan meetings for Memory Care residentsDevelop and implement monthly calendar of activities based on the Memory Care residents' likes and abilities, and in accordance with Monarch Communities' standardsParticipate in Monarch Communities' behavior calls with Regional Health and Wellness DirectorFacilitate a pro-active problem solving approach to challenging behaviorsCoordinate family involvement in Memory Care resident's life such as participation in activities, special events, and support groupsOccasional weekend coverage as Manager on DutyParticipates in and attends all in-service training as scheduledEnsures compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations, as well as community policies and proceduresOther duties as assignedSDL2017 Recommended Skills Leadership Problem Solving Self Motivation Well Being And Personal Care Event Management Financial Management Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
